Bonhams wine department welcomes consignments of wine, vintage
champagne, port, madeira, armagnac and cognac for inclusion in their
auctions held throughout the year in New Bond Street, London.
We are looking to consign the best vintages from Bordeaux, St Emilion,
and Pomerol as well as dessert wines from Sauternes. The greatest red
and white wines from Burgundy, especially those from Grand Cru
vineyards, are equally sought-after. Red wines from the Rhone Valley are
also growing in popularity and fetching the highest prices. Auctions
also regularly feature iconic wines from other European countries, such
as Italy, Spain and Lebanon, as well as New World wines from Australia
and California. Mature vintage champagne, particularly Krug, Louis
Roederer and Dom Perignon and vintage port, from Dow, Fonseca, Grahams
and Taylors always sell well. Older vintages and anniversary years are
particularly sought-after.
The department's specialists are delighted to offer free valuations
either by email, telephone or fax and are also available to travel in
Britain or Europe to inspect the contents of private cellars. Please
