The department holds two 19th century art auctions a year
of Victorian Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours as well as an annual auction
of Cornish Art. Our auctions encompass the full spectrum of Victorian and
Edwardian painting, from the Pre-Raphaelites to the Newlyn School. We work
closely with our colleagues throughout the Bonhams network of offices and
salerooms to value, promote and sell these 19th century Victorian paintings
and drawings on a worldwide basis.

Venetian Views Attract Paddles at Bonhams Auction of 19th Century Pictures
The current was flowing strongly in favour of Venetian images at Bonhams sale of 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Watercolour on October 28, which made a total of £1.7 million, with images of Venice providing four of the top ten items in the sale.
