A "Communists versus Capitalists" porcelain figural chess set,
in the Lomonosov manner, Russia, mid/late 20th century,
the Capitalist side predominantly in black, the Communist side predominantly in red, each chessmen molded in the solid with a hammer and sickle mark on the underside of the base,
the king 10cm high, the pawn 6cm high.
