***Collection & Shipment - All lots will be retained at Bonhams, New Bond Street until 5pm, Wednesday 25th November 2009. Sold lots not collected by then will be removed to Bonhams White City Warehouse at: 2 Relay Road, White City, London, W12 7SJ, Tel: +44 (0) 87 0811 3867, Hours of opening 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. All lots removed on 25th November 2009 to Bonhams warehouse will be available for collection from 9.30am, Friday 27th November 2009. These lots will be subject to transfer and storage charges if they are not collected within the period outlined below. Lots may be released from Bonhams warehouse on production of the Collection Order obtained from cashier's office at Bonhams, Knightsbridge or New Bond Street and a form of photographic ID. If a third party is collecting on behalf of a client, the third party must produce a letter of authority from the buyer and photographic from of ID*** Handling & Storage Charges – For sold lots removed to Bonhams Warehouse there will be no storage charges for lots collected between Friday 27th November 2009 and close of business on Friday 11th December 2009. Transfer and storage charges will commence on Monday 14th December 2009 and will be applicable for each working day. A Flemish 17th century ivory and tortoiseshell inlaid, ebony and ebonised painted cabinet, the fourteen painted panels attributed to the circle of Hans Jordaens III (Antwerp, circa 1595-1643)
the top with a baluster gallery, above a central door surmounted by a pediment with a small drawer and flanked to each side by four drawers, the architectural interior with a parquet floor and arched mirrored sides flanked by columns, the lower structure with a fall flap opening to reveal four small drawers, above two cupboard doors, the interior fitted with five further drawers, on bracket feet, decorated overall with painted copper panels depicting biblical scenes, the cabinet altered in England in the mid-18th century to its present form, 96cm wide, 39cm deep, 169cm high (37.5" wide, 15" deep, 66.5" high).
