The oval citrine carved to depict a portrait bust of King Philip II of Spain, facing left, within a gold and black enamel border, the initials AE or AF engraved on his shoulder, dimensions of cameo 3.2x2.5cm., dimensions of pendant 4.3x2.8cm., fitted tooled leather case by Spink & Son Ltd, 17 & 18 Piccadilly, W., a plaque within the case reads 'Finely Carved Cameo Philip II of Spain XVIth Century from the Arundel and Marlborough Collections'
