The Winterfold House Service
The family history of the vendor suggests that this service was originally purchased for Winterfold House, Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire. In 1765, Ann Taylor married William Wheeler and the couple lived together at Winterfold House, the set presumably having been acquired by the previous generation. Their daughter, Ann, married Rev Thomas Harward, curate of Rushock, Worcestershire, in 1813. The couple also lived at Winterfold and the service has passed by descent to the present vendor
