The Islamic and Indian art department are currently consigning for the forthcoming April 2010 auction. The auctions cover a wide range of exceptional art and artefacts including paintings, pottery, metalwork and glass, ivory, jewellery and stonework. Ottoman Turkish works of art - particularly silver, textiles and Iznik pottery are a selection of interesting highlights, as well as Arabic and Persian manuscripts, Indian miniatures, arms and armour, furniture and decorative items made for the Islamic market.
