The Hoffmeister Collection is one of the most important private collections of 18th-century Meissen porcelain in the world, the like of which has not been seen on the market for many decades. It is a survey of the decoration of Meissen porcelain during the first 50 years of the manufactory's existence (1710-1760), when it dominated the taste for porcelain across Europe.
After the outstanding £1 million sale in November 2009, we will look forward to holding Part II in May 2010. Please contact the department for further information.
