The Fine Continental Furniture department handles French and Continental furniture from approximately the late 17th to the late 19th century. Pieces stamped by makers, such as: Beneman, Birclet, Boulle, Criaerd, Sageot, Migeon for the 18th century and Beurdeley, Dasson, Sormani and Linke for the 19th century have been successfully offered at these auctions.
The Fine Continental Furniture and Works of Art auctions are held twice a year in London, New Bond street and also feature decorative objects such as sculpture, clocks, ormolu-mounted porcelain, ceramics, enamel, pietre dure, micromosaics, glass and tapestries.

Bidders Flock To Bonhams As Lots Fly In Lady Pidgeon's Country House Sale Of The Year
Bonhams sale of the contents of Great Brampton House made £2,031,698 with 94% of all items sold. The top lot consisted of the two paintings by the Russian artist Roslin which made £144,000.
