This sale, held twice each year, regularly includes signed and attributed
examples of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau jewellery by a wide variety
of makers including Archibald Knox, Liberty and Co, Murrle Bennett, Charles
Horner, The Artificers' Guild, The Guild of Handicraft, Theodor Fahrner,
Heinrich Levinger, Otto Prutscher, Arthur and Georgie Gaskin, George Hunt,
Bernard Instone, Bernard
Cuzner, Sybil Dunlop, Dorrie Nossiter, Amy Sandheim,
and Georg Jensen.
Many pieces of Arts and Crafts jewellery are unmarked and the department
is always happy to advise on attribution.
Recent successes include a moonstone and diamond pendant by Archibald Knox,
unmarked, which sold for £5040, and a moonstone and enamel necklace
by The Artificer's Guild, which sold for £9840. Further
