Bonhams Portrait Miniature Department is unique in being run by an expert with more than twelve years experience in the field. The department handles British, European and American portrait miniatures on vellum, ivory, enamel and oil on metal from the 16th Century to early 20th Century.
Our two annual Fine auctions always include works by masters of the genre, Hilliard, Oliver, Cooper, Petitot, Engleheart, Dumont, Smart, Cosway, Isabey and Bone.
