Irene Vonck, double Vase Forms, 1998 Contemporary Ceramics at Bonhams includes the very best hand-made 20th and 21st century studio pottery and ceramic art by leading British, European, Japanese and American artists.

Important works by the early 20th century pioneer potters such as Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada alongside many of the followers they inspired have been showcased. While the highly influential mid-century Modernist potters Dame Lucie Rie and Hans Coper are always strongly represented throughout the year, Post-Modern and Contemporary British potters such as Grayson Perry, Elizabeth Fritsch, Ewen Henderson and Gordon Baldwin are also offered alongside important contemporary ceramicists from mainland Europe, Scandinavia and the USA.
