Brave Woman Who Sold 'Fighting Spirit' To Troops In American Civil War Recalled In Silver At Bonhams Sale

A silver salt cellar modelled as a woman in a military uniform with a brandy barrel on her hip, known as a `Vivandiere’, who was attached to military regiments and sold wine and brandy to the troops, is being auctioned in Bonhams next Silver Sale on 8th July.
