« manichino » de la célèbre Ferrari GTO fabriqué entièrement en tube d'acier, peint en rouge avec écusson émaillé Allegretti et plaque du fabricant, édition limitée n° 1/5. Superbe objet destiné au collectionneur passionné de Ferrari, longueur environ 169 cm, largeur 120 cm et hauteur 70 cm.

FERRARI 250 GTO FRONT END WIRE-FRAME SCULPTURE BY ALLEGRETTI OF MODENA,
a "manichino" of the famous Ferrari 250 GTO, built entirely with iron tubes, painted red with Allegretti enamel badge and maker's plaque, limited edition number 1/5. A beautiful object for the serious Ferrari collector, measuring approximately 169cm in length, 120cm in width and 70cm in height.

  • Né à Modène en 1931, Mario Allegretti a commencé sa carrière professionnelle au service compétition de Maserati aux côtés de Medardo Fantuzzi en travaillant sur des machines aussi légendaires que la Maserati 250 F et la Maserati Birdcage. Dans les années 1960, il fonda avec Piero Drogo, Otello Bendetti et Lino Marchesini la Carrozzeria Sport Car à Modène qui construisit des prototypes et des modèles uniques ainsi que la carrosserie de la légendaire Ferrari 330 P4. Dans les années 1980, il ouvrit en partenariat avec son fils Stefano son propre atelier situé Via dell'Artigianato à Modène où ils se spécialisèrent dans la restauration des Ferrari classiques comme dans la création des répliques et des sculptures filaires Allegretti.

    Mario Allegretti was born in 1931 in Modena and started working in Maserati's racing department under Medardo Fantuzzi, working on such legendary machines such as the Maserati 250F and the Maserati Birdcage. In the 1960s he founded together with Piero Drogo, Otello Benedetti and Lino Marchesini the Carrozzeria Sport Car in Modena, building prototypes and unique cars as well as the body of the legendary Ferrari 330 P4. In the 1980s, he opened his own workshop, in partnership with his son Stefano, based in Via dell'Artigianato in Modena where they specialise in the restoration of classic Ferraris, as well as the creation of Allegretti replicas and wireframe sculptures.
