Poul Kjærholm furniture that was distributed in the US by Herman Miller did not feature a manufacturer's stamp, with E. Kold Christensen, or when production transferred to Fritz Hansen following Kjærholm's death in 1980. Works manufactured by E. Kold Christensen featured matte-chrome plated steel frames, rather than the brushed stainless steel frames of later Fritz Hansen production.
