Footnotes

  • Despite the Navitimer being possibly the most established Breitling chronograph among watch collectors today, Breitling's impressive history of producing complicated chronographs started as early as the 1940s. In particular there is the elusive Datora range. The design of the Datoras juxtaposed the complexity of their highly complicated movements with a clean, legible dial and an understated, almost minimalist case design. The movement of the present watch is based on the Venus Cal.187.
