A late 17th century lantern clock in rare dated floorstanding case

The case with carved cresting, the date of 1682 flanking a monogram of three letters AOT, over applied spiral half columns, the trunk with elaborate cushion moulded throat section over a solid door with moulded central panel, with matching sides over a heavy horizontal mid-section, on a matching panelled base, the lantern clock set on two rough cross pieces nailed into position over the centre of the case, with strapped bell (central finial lacking) over four urn finials and tapering Doric columns on ball feet, (two frets, central finial and side doors lacking), the Roman chapter ring with inner quarter hour track signed John Ebsworth Londini, with original steel hand (alarm setting disc lacking), the twin train movement with later conversion to anchor escapement, and with countwheel strike on the bell. 2.01m (6ft 7ins) high
