Footnotes

  • This doll has many similarities to other rare Kammer & Reinhardt series 100 'Art Reform Dolls'. The quality of bisque and moulding together with the style and application of the painted features are identical to that of the known and marked character dolls by K&R. Together with the cut of the head and the style of the incised number 11 in our opinion this doll is the missing 111 from this iconic series, mould 111 was registered by K&R in 1909. This model of doll has, to our knowledge, never before been offered for sale at auction.
