Portraits of Rare and Curious Birds, With their Descriptions, from the Menagery of Osterley Park, in the County of Middlesex, 2 vol. in 1, engraved hand-coloured frontispiece of the menagery, 100 hand-coloured plates, some of the early plates signed in ink by members of the Hayes family (Matilda, Emily, etc.), a few stains, some of the grassy knolls on which the birds sit trimmed by the binder, without the 2 preliminary leaves to volume 2 (ESTC: "2 out of 3 copies don't have them"), frontispiece on guard, blue morocco gilt by Zaehnsdorf, g.e. [Nissen IVB 422; Wood p.381], 4to, W. Bulmer, 1794[-1799]
