An impressive George III silver teapot
by Paul Storr, London 1816
Compressed circular form with flaring fluted rim, lightly-domed cover with ivory lobed circular disc finial, the upper-section applied with stylised vine of trailing leaves, the baluster lower-section with fluted sides, the ivory scroll handle with fruiting vine embellishments to both junctions, raised on a spreading circular base with gadrooned band, crested, length 27cm, weight 56oz.
