German, circa 1940 and later
mostly in tin, some with enamel detailing, and representing the following:
[RIGHT MOST] - Enameled 1st U-Boat Flotilla Plaque/Badge. Front flotilla: Support point Kiel, as of June 1941 Brest, disbanded September 1944.
[TOP LEFT] - Raging Bull Hat Insignia, originally for U-47, then for the 7th U-Boat Flotilla. The support point was Kiel and later also St. Nazaire.
[TOP RIGHT] - 9th U-Boat Flotilla (Sawfish) Hat Badge, front flotilla; support point Brest, established November 1941, disbanded August 1944. This was first the boat emblem of U-96 under Lehmann-Willenbrock.
[MIDDLE] - Tasmanian Devil hat Badge of the U-47 (7th Flotilla).
[MIDDLE CENTER] - Submarine-in-Profile Hat badge for 23rd U-boat flotilla.
[TOP LEFT & CENTER] – Two Anchor Hat Pins from U-Boat Vet, one with enamel shield, sub unknown.
[LOWER RIGHT] - Edelweiss Hat Badge from U-Boat Vet, sub unknown.
[CENTER LEFT] – "V" Victory Hat Badge from U-Boat Vet, sub unknown.
