With sighted barrels each retaining much of their original browning beneath and signed in script along the sighting flat at the breech, the latter engraved with a line of foliage at the rear, silver fore-sights, case-hardened tangs each with back-sight and engraved with foliage involving a Britannia shield, case-hardened border engraved bevelled detented locks each signed in script, engraved with foliage on the stepped tail and cock, and with blued steel-spring, the internal working parts retaining most of their blued and burnished finish, figured full stocks with swelling chequered butts, the flats along each side left plain, blued steel trigger-guards each with pineapple finial and engraved with a martial trophy and foliage on the bow, blued ramrod-pipes, shield-shaped silver escutcheons each engraved with owner's monogram and with engraved silver crest of Willington above, original horn-tipped ramrods, one with iron worm, and in fine condition, retaining most of their case-hardened and blued finish: in original lined and fitted oak case (compartments loose), one compartment lid ring incomplete) with accessories including brass-mounted three-way powder-flask with ribbed body, turnscrew and steel bullet-mould, the exterior of the lid with flush-fitting brass carrying handle, and complete with contemporary blackened canvas travelling cover (some wear), with brass escutcheon engraved 'Francis Willington Esq.re', Tower private proof marks; together with a shot-flask, the leather body inscribed in ink on each side with owner's initials 'FW' (3)
