A boxwood 'tree-trunk' brushpot
Qing dynasty
Exquisitely carved in the form of an aged tree, with two undercut branches of lingzhi at the bottom, the exterior naturalistically detailed with raised nodes, the wood of a rich golden brown tone.
10.5cm high.

    筆筒以黃楊木為材,器身仿古樹一段而作,樹幹表面凸雕樹瘤及古木紋理,筆筒下方透雕兩株靈芝從樹幹中生出,刀工洗練,自然脫俗,可為案頭陳設佳作。
