two circular and one square, impressions on wax in nasta'liq, and gurmukhi script in the borders of two, the reverse of the third with a European-style coat of arms and an inscription around the circumference in English referring to Raja Ranbir Singh of Jind and with the date 1887, in cloth bag

    The impressions are as follows:

    A. Maharajah Ranbir Singh (reg. 1857-1885) of Jammu and Kashmir, Grand Commander of the Most Exalted Order of the Star of India.

    B. Mir Mahbub 'Ali Khan Asaf Jah VI (reg. 1869-1911) of Hyderabad, dated AH 1285/AD 1868-69.

    C. Most probably of Maharajah Ranbir Singh of Jind, apparently with the Christian date 1944 rendered in both Arabic and Hindi numerals.
