  • Please note that this lot is a posthumous cast, circa 1991, aside from an edition of two conceived in 1926, entitled First Portrait of J. Ramsay Macdonald and produced with the permission of the Artist's Estate. The provenance for this work should read, from the family of the sitter. One of the edition was gifted by the family of the sitter to the Houses of Parliament in 1988.
