the figure with domed cap coiffure, shell-inlaid eyes, tapering nose and slit lips, the cheeks and chin incised with concentric circles and triangular motifs, sloping shoulders with arms carved to the side and hands clasped to the lower abdomen below the circular navel, carved pubic region, slightly flexed legs, carved feet, painted allover in dark pigment, 58cm high
