Together, 12 volumes. Both large 4to. Profusely illustrated including plates and charts, some color or folding.

FIRST EDITIONS, being the rare scientific results of Nansen's famed first Fram expedition in addition to those of the first Maud expedition, which was under the command of Roald Amundsen. Amundsen was unsuccessful in reaching the North Pole on that expedition and its chief glory now is in Sverdrup's scientific data.
