Period mottled calf, rebacked preserving much of original spine, gilt lettered spine label. A few instances of faint foxing, covers with corners rubbed, spine with arrested wear.
FIRST EDITION. Contains the journal of Francisco A. Maurelle, pilot with the fleet commanded by Don Juan de la Bodega, while exploring the coast northward of California in 1775.
