An Edwardian silver two bottle ink stand
by William Hutton & Sons Ltd., London 1910
Of rectangular shape with a pierced three quarter border, supporting two silver capped square cut-glass ink bottles, with a pen tray, gadrooned borders, raised on four scroll feet, 32 x 20cm, weight 37oz, a Victorian silver bottle coaster, by the Barnards, London 1889, with a latticework frame and gadrooned borders, inscribed "1898", a silver mounted glass ink well, London 1897, of circular form, the cover with a gadrooned border, monogrammed, (this fits inside the bottle coaster and the date ties in), and a Victorian silver mounted desk blotter pad, Chester 1897, with embossed floral and scroll decoration, opening to reveal the blotting paper, 29 x 23cm.
