A pair of Wedgwood and Bentley variegated agate cassolettes, circa 1775
Of urn shape, modelled in two sections with interchangeable tops reversing to form either finials or candle holders, the marbled effect formed using a variety of brown and cream coloured clay, with creamware husk-moulded wreaths and detail to the handles heightened with oil gilding, supported on white jasper stepped square plinths, 22.5cm high, impressed lower case marks Wedgwood & Bentley (4)
