A large framed Della Robbia 'Jog On' tile panel, signed by E.L.M Rope
Dated 1896
The pale blue and white glazed frieze moulded in relief with a series of children cavorting amidst reeds and bullrushes, the upper section incised with a verse, 'Jog on, jog on the footpath way and merrilee hent the stile-a, a merrie heart goes all the way, your sad tires in a mile-a', set within a stained oak frame; 114.5cm long, 21cm wide, incised Della Robbia mark to verso, signed to the front 'E.L.M. Rope'.
