California Gold Nugget-"The Buddha" 1.945 ozt.
Black Canyon Mine, Foresthill, California
From the heart of Placer County, California obtained directly from the miner and his wife, comes this anthropomorphic nugget resembling a seated figure of a Buddha. Medium gold with nice luster particularly in the high spots, there is evidence of some quartz in the crevices. This is an aesthetic and fine nugget.
