A pair of extremely well-carved, gemmy white crystal opals carved to depict a pair of snowy owls. Electric blue flashes and strong banding of opal with intense play-of-color which suggests color variation naturally found in bird feathers. The eyes are formed of cabochon rubies, rimmed with 18K yellow gold. The octagonal black onyx base is mounted with four square-cut rubies to four sides as well as applied gold decoration.
