Suite of Three Hydrophane Crystal Opals
Wello, Delanta Plateau, Tigray, Ethiopia
Suitable for mounting as a pendant and a pair of earrings, the three crystal opals have a full array of spectral hues within the creamy caramel body color of the stones. Rolling flashes reveal an astonishingly fiery red play-of-color. The larger pear-shaped cabochon, weighing 9.5 carats and measuring 23.5 x 12.0 x 7.0mm; the two smaller pear-shapes, weighing 8.2 carats and measuring 22.5 x 10.0 x 8.5mm, and the second, weighing approximately 8.2 carats and measuring 23.0 x 10.0 x 8.5mm
