An 18th century twin-handled brass mortar, Dutch, dated 1733
With everted rim, engraved to the body with the name 'Michael Rohde' and the date 'Ao 1733', 11.5cm diameter x 11cm high, together with a mid to late 17th century bronze alloy mortar, probably London, the flared rim above a slightly tapering body cast twice with a fleur-de-lys, with outswept flattened footrim, 13cm diameter x 10.5cm high, a mid to late 17th century brass alloy mortar, probably English, with everted ring, single fillet to the body and slender footrim, 14.5cm diameter x 11cm high, and three associated double-ended brass alloy pestles, 20.5cm, 21.5cm and 21cm long respectively, (6)
