A George I silver oval snuff box

The hinged cover inset with an oval shell panel, opening to reveal a portrait miniature; Circle of Christian Richter (Swedish, 1678-1732). A Lady, standing before a landscape and drapery, wearing olive green robe edged with gold and red embroidery, a red mantle draped over her right shoulder, her hair partially upswept and dressed with a floral spray, she holds a portrait miniature of a Gentleman in her right hand, 8 x 4.5 x 2cm, together with a Victorian silver combination snuff/vesta box, by G.W.Co., untraced Birmingham 1864, with all-over engine turned decoration, 6 x 3.5 x 1cm.
