Having a 7 inch silvered break arch dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, the centre with faux pendulum and date aperture and engraved borders to winders, applied gilt brass scrollwork spandrels, the arch with seconds dial and strike silent rise and fall, engrave 'N. Macpherson, Edinr' at apex; the movement with crown wheel escapement above twin wire driven fusees, the back plate engraved with Ho Ho birds and scrollwork; the bell topped case surmounted by brass anvil shaped handle and pineapple finials, the door with brass edges and pierced fretwork silk back corners, the moulded plinth raised on gilt brass squat ogee bracket feet. With pendulum, door key and winder. 50cm (19.5") high
