Having a 7" brass arched dial with silver chapter, Roman hours and Arabic minutes, matted centre with plate signed 'Lowe & Sons, Chester', chime silent-slow fast-Westminster chime on eight bells dials above, the dial with applied gilt brass mask and shell decoration; the triple fusee movement with a carillon of eight bells, striking the quarter hours on a coiled gong; the case with arched top and five gilt finials above a caryatid frieze, the door with upper applied gilt mask quarter panels, canted sides with ormolu caryatid and floral mounts, the plinth with gilt acanthus border, raised on ormolu scrollwork feet. With pendulum and winder. 60cm (23 1/2 inches) high
