Having a 7" brass arched dial with silver chapter, Roman hours and Arabic minutes, matted centre with plate signed 'Lowe & Sons, Chester', chime silent-slow fast-Westminster chime on eight bells dials above, the dial with applied gilt brass mask and shell decoration; the triple fusee movement with a carillon of eight bells, striking the quarter hours on a coiled gong; the case with arched top and five gilt finials above a caryatid frieze, the door with upper applied gilt mask quarter panels, canted sides with ormolu caryatid and floral mounts, the plinth with gilt acanthus border, raised on ormolu scrollwork feet.
