A gold coloured 8 panel cap, embroidered with English rose to front and date '1892', makers name Foster & Co. of Oxford and 4, Regent Street London imprinted inside the cap. This cap was awarded to Charlie Athersmith for his appearance v Ireland in Belfast on 5th March 1892, this was his first appearance for England.
