1993 Diego Maradona match worn Argentina shirt

An Adidas blue and white stripe long sleeved shirt, to front with black Adidas logo on right and Argentina badge to left, to the reverse black number 10. This shirt was worn by Maradona vs. Australia on 17th November 1993 (2nd Leg) in Buenos Aires - World Cup 1994 (CONMEBOL/OFC Intercontinental Play-Off). The lot includes a C.O.A.

This match worn shirt was purchased from an established South American collector. Maradona had originally gifted the shirt to a fan who later sold the shirt at local auction. Maradona went on to play in his final World Cup tournament qualifying for World Cup 1994 after winning 2-1 on aggregate over 2 legs in the intercontinental play-off against Australia.
