Having a twelve-inch brass square dial, silvered chapter with Roman hours and Arabic minutes and floating half hours, engraved 'Geo Thomas, London', the matted centre with seconds dial and date aperture, rack striking on a bell; the caddie top hood with moulded cornice over stopped fretwork panels, the shaped ring turned columns with plain capitals, glazed arched apertures to sides, the shaped top crossbanded long trunk door on a plain base with moulded plinth and squat ogee bracket feet, (sold with two gilt coloured weights, pendulum and winder), 208cm (82") high
