A Victorian Coastguard Services percussion pistol
Blued six inch .58 caliber barrel with swivel ramrod and marked at breech with two sets of three Ordnance marks. Lockplate with double line borders, Ordnance broad arrow and crown and VR cipher over Tower 1844. Brass furniture. Walnut stock, right wrist with Ordnance mark, counter flat with BO and broad arrow, I. Cook stamp and what appears to be another stamp lined out.
Condition: Very good. Barrel retains much blued finish. Stock with numerous small marks and some chipping to right side fore-end at barrel pin. Lanyard ring missing.
