A George II sterling silver hot water urn
by Francis Butty and Nicholas Dumee, London, 1759
The fluted domed lid with urn en flambeau finial over a similarly-fluted spreading top issuing upturned beaded handles over a tapering body, decorated with floral garlands, centrally fitted with a dolphin-form spout, with a coat-of-arms, over a fluted stem and circular stepped laurel-wreath and bead-decorated foot, weight approximately 109oz troy.
