Heavily influenced by her step-father and mentor, Claude Monet, Blanche Hoschedé Monet's work is that of pure impressionism – painting alongside Monet – using the same tools and pigments – capturing the play of light amongst the French countryside. Her use of Monet's en plein air technique notes the beauty and wonderment of nature, and more so continues Monet's painterly tradition for all to see.
