An enameled milk glass snuff bottle
1800-1870
Of compressed teardrop shape with a flat lip and waisted neck, with a oval foot rim surrounding a recessed foot, the foot bearing a four character Qianlong mark in black enamel, the neck and edges with a lemon yellow enamel ground with floral motifs, one side with a seated portly sage and attendant who watches a spider, reversed by a bearded figure and attendant carrying a giant peach along an alpine path, with a gold stopper.
