A gilt copper alloy figure of Akshobhya
Qing dynasty, 18th century
Seated on lotus throne with his hands in bhumisparsha mudra, abundantly adorned with jewelry of inset stones, large earrings and a five-leafed crown, his shoulders covered with an undulating scarf and swirling tresses, his hair arranged in a two-tiered chignon surmounted by a flaming jewel (cintamani).
