A Frank Sinatra tuxedo jacket
Black wool with satin lapel and cuffs, label in interior pocket from Acuna Hollywood, reading "Frank Sinatra / #7 / May-1963." Acuna's other clients included Jimmy Cagney, Gregory Peck, and Orson Welles. Renowned as a fastidious dresser, it is estimated that Sinatra owned 150 suits in the early '60s. He once said of his preferred attire, "for me, a tuxedo is a way of life" (Bill Zehme, The Way You Wear Your Hat, p. 131).
