MEDIEVAL LAND GRANT CHARTER.
Latin manuscript on vellum. Lincolnshire, England, ca.1250. Single sheet (217 x 284 mm), 26 lines in ink, miniscule cursiva anglicana, in a charter hand. Pendant green wax seal on string with image of a hound. Creases where previously folded, tear repaired with japanese tissue on recto, remnants of paper removal (from being previously mounted?), two small holes in vellum, one corner of seal chipped away.
