Comprising a Worcester Flight Barr and Barr spill vase and an English rectangular porcelain plaque; the vase of cylindrical form with flared rim above a beaded band and bird and ring handles, centered by an exotic bird perched on a branch against a white ground with gilt heightened seaweed decoration and square foot, puce painted factory mark, height 3 1/2in (9cm); the plaque, painted with a still life of flowers and fruit, signed in puce at top of panel James Shufflebottom July 11th 1826, dimensions 6 5/8 x 8 3/8in (17 x 21cm).
