An assembled Louis XVI style gilt, patinated bronze and marble clock garniture
late 19th/early 20th century
Comprising a mantel clock and pair of six light candelabra; the clock surmounted by a reclining classical maiden leaning against a pedestal centered by the white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, inscribed DAVID AU MANS, on a stepped rectangular marble plinth and spool feet, the twin train movement with outside count wheel striking on a bell, the backplate impressed ROLLIN A PARIS and Vincenti Medaille d'Argent pastille and numbered 247; the companion candelabra each centered by a seated putto supporting a foliate branch issuing the candle arms, raised on a fluted columnar support hung with floral swags and spool feet.
